WS1 and ServiceNow Overview

I was motivated to create a blog series addressing a customer inquiry regarding the integration of WorkspaceONE UEM with ServiceNow. The initiative explores configuring a comprehensive two-way synchronization mechanism where devices existing in the UEM environment transfer to ServiceNow's system to maintain an updated CMDB without requiring manual intervention.

As devices progress through their lifecycle—experiencing application updates, troubleshooting cycles, and various changes—technicians can perform actions in ServiceNow that automatically reflect back into the UEM console, triggering corresponding automated responses.

Series Structure

  • Part 1: Focuses on getting the device metadata out of the UEM environment and into the ServiceNow environment
  • Part 2: Concentrates on ensuring that an admin action in ServiceNow is reflected back into the Workspace ONE UEM environment
